The Craft Society for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus stated that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market recorded today 156,000 Syrian pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the association, a gram of 21 karat gold recorded a selling price of 156 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 155,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 karat reached a selling price of 133,714 pounds and a purchase price of 133,214 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it. It also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by it. It also distributed phone numbers for complaints 2230766 and 2248005.
