The Syrian Trade Foundation announced that the next round of distributing sugar and rice through the electronic card will start from Sunday 4-7-2021 without adjusting the quantities allocated to the family.
The Director General, Ahmed Negm, stated in a statement to SANA’s representative that the selling price of a kilo of sugar and rice was set at 1,000 Syrian pounds for each of these two items.
The Syrian Trade had started selling sugar and rice materials according to the electronic card for the months of February, March and April since mid-February.
During the months of last October and November, a new mechanism was implemented for families to obtain their allocations of sugar and rice by specifying their requests electronically through the mobile application (Win) dedicated to receiving gas cylinders or through the Telegram channel or the website of the electronic card project or through the (USSD) service at the number ( *9884#).
The beneficiary receives a text message that includes the date of receiving the materials from the hall specified by him within a day from the date of receiving the message. If he is unable to do so within the specified period, he can re-apply to take a new role.
