“lay the foundations”
of a new tourism:
“sustainable, eco-responsible and local tourism, more oriented towards Parisians, Ile-de-France residents and nationals, or favoring longer stays ”
. This Thursday, the Paris city hall presented the work of the first sustainable tourism conference, launched in March with the Office of Tourism and Congress. While a large number of professionals - hoteliers, traders, restaurateurs - live thanks to international tourists, the City's ambitions are nevertheless creating a cold sweat.
“If Paris is no longer an international tourist city, it is the death of tourism in the capital,
reacts Philippe Villin, owner-operator of the Libertel hotel group.
