The Central Financial and Accounting Professions Syndicate today elected its new board of directors, at the electoral conference it held today at the headquarters of the Association of Graduates of Commercial Institutes.
The chairmanship of the board of directors in its second session was won by Dhahi Al-Karad and the membership of the board by Khaled Al-Saeed, Ferzat Al-Emadi, Bassem Al-Jaja, Khaled Banoud, Muhammad Ibrahim, Wafa Maktabi, Mary Saadeh and Muhammad Khair Jazairi.
In a speech during the conference, a member of the central leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Hoda Al-Homsi, head of the Office of Popular Organizations and Professional Syndicates, stressed that despite the fierceness of the terrorist war waged against Syria, the public authorities and state institutions did not stop carrying out their service and social duties in the fields of education, health, transportation and others. And meeting the needs of citizens, which contributed to strengthening the elements of steadfastness and the independence of political decision.
For his part, the head of the Financial and Accounting Professions Syndicate, Zuhair Tinawi, explained in a statement to SANA’s delegate that one of the most important tasks of the newly elected board of directors is to follow up on the amendments proposed by the previous council to the decree establishing the union and to amend its internal system in line with the stage of reconstruction and construction in Syria and to include the relevant associations in the union Including the Associations of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Analysts, which is currently under consideration by the Economic Committee and a specialized committee in the Ministry of Finance.
It is worth noting that the Syndicate of Financial and Accounting Professions has eight branches spread in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, As-Suwayda, Homs, Hama, Tartous, Lattakia and Aleppo.
The opening of the conference, which includes 95 members, was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Muhammad Akram Al-Ajlani, the Baath Arab Socialist Party’s branch secretary in Damascus and its countryside, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. Electoral year.
