The 16th edition of the Food Industries and Packaging Exhibition “Food Expo 2021” resulted in reaching agreements to enhance the marketing of the products of the food industrial companies participating in the local markets and open export outlets for them, according to the organizers.

In a statement to the SANA representative, the CEO of the Delta Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences, Ghiath Shammaa, explained that the exhibition, which concluded yesterday evening, resulted in dozens of agreements and understandings and the conclusion of export contracts with many Arab businessmen from Jordan, Iraq and other countries, in addition to businessmen and traders. Syrians visiting the exhibition, and it provided the opportunity to meet the participating companies with their agents and customers to inform them about their new products, services, offers and services.

And Shammaa indicated that the exhibition achieved its objectives in promoting the marketing of the products of the participating companies in the local and foreign markets.

Shammaa pointed to the participation of many Syrian agricultural and food companies and their related services and the presentation of their products and services, pointing out that the new department was the new emerging food companies, in addition to the companies that returned to work and production and looking for new markets, and found in the exhibition an opportunity to introduce and market their products locally and abroad.

Shammaa pointed to the importance of the Food Industries Forum, which was organized on the second day of the exhibition, in which food product manufacturers presented the problems of their industry in front of those concerned to find the necessary solutions and enable them to develop their production and export capabilities.

The exhibition activities were launched on the 12th of July with the support of the Ministry of Industry, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry, and the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture, with the participation of about 80 local food industrial companies.
