Total Basic Basket
(CBT) registered an
increase of 3.2% in June
, so that a family made up of two adults and two minors needed $ 66,488 to avoid falling into poverty.
It arises from the report published this Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).
According to the agency's periodic estimate, the CBT advanced 51.8% in June compared to the same month in 2020.
On the other hand, the
Basic Food Basket
(CBA) increased
3.6%
.
Therefore, a family of four needed a monthly income of $ 28,414 to avoid being destitute.
INDEC reported that the basic basket rose 3.2% in June.

In this case, the interannual variation was 57.6%.
According to INDEC, the CBA for an equivalent adult (the reference unit) was $ 9,195, while the CBT was $ 21,517.
The antecedent of May
The released values for June
represent a jump
with respect to the previous INDEC update.
In May, the CBT had registered an increase of 2.4%, which made it the lowest percentage in the year.
Furthermore, the interannual variation was 49.6%.
Meanwhile, the CBA had registered a rise of 2.8% compared to April and an increase of 53.4% compared to May 2020.
In any case, it was far from the biggest monthly jumps of 2021: 4.6% for the CBA, in January, and 5% for the CBT, in March.
