In a context still uncertain due to the health crisis, Thales presented, this Friday, July 23, solid half-year results.

We are seeing a strong rebound in turnover and operating results which demonstrate, in fact, what resilience is,
" said Patrice Caine, CEO of the defense and high technology group, at
Le Figaro
.

The very good level of our order intake is a leading indicator of our future growth.
It gives investors confidence because Thales will continue to generate growth,
”he adds.
The half-year results reflect this dynamism, supported by the good health of the defense and space activities.
At 8.3 billion, order intake increased by 35% compared to the first half of 2020, depressed by the Covid-19 crisis.
But they are 1.2 billion higher than those of the “normal” first half of 2019.
