The recategorization of the monotax will be enabled until August 17
.
The term that begins this Wednesday was established by the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) to guarantee that small taxpayers
carry out the procedure with the values of the scales stipulated in the new tax relief law.
With the regulation of the tax relief law for monotax holders,
the AFIP implemented the exceptional update of the scales
that contemplated an increase in the
maximum billing per category of up to 77%.
In this way, the
recategorization enabled from this Wednesday can be done with the new values.
The updated scales can be consulted at monotributo.afip.gob.ar.
The billing amounts
by category will govern for the period between August 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022.
Recategorization is a mandatory procedure, which is carried out twice a year,
where taxpayers must evaluate
which category of the monotax corresponds
to them according to their activity during the last 12 months.
All taxpayers must carry out the procedure.
When it is not appropriate to modify the category, people must confirm their permanence in the corresponding one.
To facilitate compliance tasks
, the expiration of the monthly obligation for next month was postponed until August 27.
For the payment of the three components of the August monotax installment - tax, social work and retirement - the values corresponding to the recategorization that begins this July 28 will govern.
From the AFIP, they remember that
on August 5 the deadline to enter the monthly obligation corresponding to June expires
.
The payment of said maturity, which was also postponed, is specified according to the previous monotax scales corresponding to Law 27,618, which can also be consulted at monotributo.afip.gob.ar.
Benefits for monotributistas
In addition to the exceptional updating of the scales,
the AFIP implemented the other benefits for monotributistas provided for in the tax relief law
.
The regulation moved back the monthly values of the installments corresponding to the period January-June 2021 to those in force in December 2020, established a moratorium to regularize debts in up to 60 installments and regulated the permanence in the simplified regime for those who were excluded for different reasons .
