Renault is reaping the first fruits of its recovery plan


The manufacturer, which returned to profit in the first half of the year, now has the means to finance its “Renaulution” transformation plan.

The group posted a net profit of 368 million euros in the first half of 2021, against a loss of 7.39 billion a year earlier.

The turnover increased by 26.8%, to 23.4 billion, compared to the same period 2020. The operating margin became positive again (2.8%).
