The Order of Physicians, which represents all doctors of all specialties, alerts the authorities to one of the dangers of the health pass: restricted access to care for certain patients who will not have a negative test or vaccinated against Covid-19.
As a reminder, the Constitutional Council must examine the bill on the extension of the health pass on Thursday, August 5.
The health pass should come into effect in hospitals and clinics the following days, especially for people who go there for scheduled care.

In a statement published on Monday on their Twitter account, the National Council of the Order of Physicians
"is deeply concerned about the conditions for the implementation of such a provision, which must not deprive patients of care even though deleterious consequences of the crisis in terms of access to care and patient follow-up (…) are widely documented ”.

The Order thus reminds health professionals of
“the ethical obligation to guarantee their patients care in optimal safety conditions”
and to the Constitutional Council of the need to protect the universality of care.
"The Order of Physicians is awaiting the response of the Constitutional Council responsible (...) for guaranteeing equal access to healthcare for all citizens of our country,"
the statement said.
