After a nightmarish 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the great containment, the French flagships of the industry and services seem to have entered a crazy year.
The giants of the CAC 40 have done much better than erase their performance in the first half of 2020, when they posted a cumulative net loss of 2 billion euros.
Between January and June, they made more than 60 billion euros in profits, 41% more than in the first half of 2019 (42.7 billion).

This exceptional performance is collective.
Indeed, two thirds of the French flagships see their profits jump over two years, sometimes dramatically.
So much so that
"several companies, such as EssilorLuxottica and Société Générale,
only communicate on the improvement in their performance between 2019 and 2021, noting that 2020 is a parenthesis"
, underlines Bénédicte Hautefort, founder of Hebdo des AG.
This explosion in profits over two years is all the more remarkable
