DECRYPTION - In the first half of the year, the cumulative net income of the French flagships exceeded its 2019 level by 40%, before the Covid-19 crisis.

After a nightmarish 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the great containment, the French flagships of the industry and services seem to have entered a crazy year.

The giants of the CAC 40 have done much better than erase their performance in the first half of 2020, when they posted a cumulative net loss of 2 billion euros.

Between January and June, they made more than 60 billion euros in profits, 41% more than in the first half of 2019 (42.7 billion).

, underlines Bénédicte Hautefort, founder of Hebdo des AG.

This explosion in profits over two years is all the more remarkable
