The province of Buenos Aires made official this Thursday its adherence to the simplified regime of the AFIP through which

a

unified

monthly fee

can be paid

that includes both

the Monotax and Gross Income

.

Through

Joint General Resolution 5041/2021

of the AFIP and ARBA, published in the Official Gazette with the signatures of its holders Mercedes Marcó del Pont and Cristian Girard, respectively, the Province is incorporated into

the Single Tax System

.

In this way, the government of Axel Kicillof presented a simplified regime of Gross Income for monotributistas.

The initiative will allow Buenos Aires residents who adhere to the simplified regime of the AFIP to pay a unified monthly fee that includes both the monotax and the provincial tax.

The initiative was presented this Wednesday in a ceremony held in the Golden Room of the Government House, which was headed by the Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof, together with the head of the AFIP, Mercedes Marcó del Pont;

and the executive director of ARBA, Cristian Girard.

The initiative covers

more than one million

monotributistas from Buenos Aires.

"At the time of adhering to the Simplified Regime for Small Taxpayers, the subjects with fiscal domicile in the Province of Buenos Aires must declare their condition against the tax on gross income and the municipal and / or communal contribution that affects the activity carried out -anyone whatever its name-, in order to fit into the 'Simplified Provincial Regime', explains the resolution published in the Official Gazette.

The regulations specified that "membership will be formalized through the 'Monotributo' portal (https://monotributo.afip.gob.ar) option 'Alta Monotributo', with a Tax Code enabled with

Security Level 2 or higher

".

Likewise, it was established that the credential for the payment -Form F. 1520- will contain the Unique Magazine Code (CUR) that will be generated for each case, based on the situation of the small taxpayer.

As provided, the small taxpayers that are included in the "Provincial Simplified Regime" and, if applicable, in the simplified regime of the municipal and / or communal contribution that affects the activity carried out -whatever its denomination-, will be incorporated to the AFIP "System".

ARBA must inform the AFIP about "

those novelties

, adjustments and / or changes in the tax framework of small taxpayers", since the Single Tax System "will be automatically updated based on the information received."

Registration will begin this Thursday, it will be voluntary and with the possibility of

returning to the previous system

.

Along with this,

they will stop submitting Affidavits

and no withholdings and payments will be made.

In addition, there will be a single steering wheel, the VEP, and the maturities will be unified.

The unified monotax reduces the administrative burden for taxpayers, since it combines both taxes in one payment of a fixed and predetermined amount.

The system has already been put into practice in Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Mendoza, Río Negro, San Juan and Salta.

Who can join

From next week, Buenos Aires taxpayers will be able to register for the AFIP single tax system, which will be held on the ARBA website.

They must meet the following conditions:

  • They must enter the ARBA website with their CUIT and their CIT password.

  • Your tax address must be located in the Province of Buenos Aires.

  • They must be taxpayers of Gross Income.

  • They cannot belong to a multilateral agreement.
