Due to the impact of inflation, the Government
will reopen the parity of the state ones
and will seek to close a rise
just above 40%
.
In this way, an attempt will be made to align the salaries of
130,000 employees of the central administration
with those of the staff of
Congress
, who last June signed a
similar
raise
with
Cristina Kirchner
and
Sergio Massa.
Informal negotiations will begin this week, prior to the meeting scheduled for August 19, in which the joint meeting with the
UPCN and ATE
unions will begin formally
.
This sector had agreed in May to
raise 35% in 6 installments
and with a revision in November, but it was agreed to
reopen it
after the strong price increases in the
first semester.
"We have not discussed it with the unions, we started it in the middle of this week and we are going to bring the best possible offer. That implies
advancing quotas and adding a few points to 2021 to close slightly above 40%,
not much more. But we are going to guarantee the recovery of the real salary of the public employment ", indicated official sources.
The state parity runs from May
to June next year.
Between January and May of this year, there was an increase of
18%
corresponding to
2020.
And then, by 2021,
10% in July and 5% in August
, while
5%
is pending
in September, 4% in December, 6% in January and 5% in February 2022
.
The idea of the Executive is to
advance
some of these fees and
add percentage points
.
According to the official calculation, salaries would exceed an expected inflation of 48% end-to-end.
But from ATE they maintain that it
is insufficient.
"40%
will be below inflation,
which will be above 50%, so it is necessary to
be above that or advance quotas
that have a concrete impact," warned
Hugo "Cachorro" Godoy
, leader of ATE and number two of the Autonomous CTA.
After June,
advances and reopening were raising the salary floor
. Last week,
Aceiteros
(48.5%) and
Commerce
(42%)
closed reviews
, after
Health
(45%) and
Construction
(47.5%) did the same. These increases put pressure on the state parity, a sector that since March 2018
lost 20.7% of its purchasing power
, according to a recent IARAF study.
In parallel to the negotiations at the national level, the Buenos Aires governor,
Axel Kicillof
, will meet this week with the provincial unions to
reopen the joint
unions
before November
.
The Province announced in July the advance to that month of the
8%
increase agreed for September, reaching a cumulative increase of
31%
.
