Today, the Commercial Bank of Syria has identified the documents required to benefit from the Small and Medium Enterprises Support and Financing Program at an interest rate of 4 percent.

The bank supports loans for small and medium-sized projects by reducing interest at a rate of 2%, while the Local Production and Export Development Authority, according to the government program, supports 7%, meaning that projects bear a simple interest of 4% on the decreasing balance of the loan annually.

According to the bank statement, of which SANA received a copy, a loan application is submitted according to the approved form signed by the customer or by the authorized signatories and the identification document in addition to a commercial or industrial register, a craft or union certificate, or a licensing decision from the competent authorities, the customer’s tax number and financial statements for the previous three years And expected financial statements for a future year in the event of a short-term loan request, and an economic feasibility study in the event of a medium or long-term loan request with real estate guarantee documents.

According to the instructions, it is possible to apply for the loan in Damascus branches 3, 5 and 6 and Dar Al Baath branch and in Homs governorate in branches 1 and 3 and in Hama governorate in branches 1 and 2, Masyaf branch and in Latakia governorate in branches 1 and 4 and Jableh branch and in Aleppo governorate in branches 2 and 6 and Tartous branches 1, 2, Safita, Banias, and Drakeish, and in the As-Suwayda branch.

Yesterday, the Syrian Commercial Bank launched a program for financing small and medium enterprises, which consists of several banking products with simple subsidized interests, as applications began to be submitted to the bank's branches as of the ninth of this August.
