After the strike at the railway, passengers can expect largely normal long-distance and regional traffic again this Friday, according to the company.
They are working on ensuring that the full timetable and services are available again as soon as possible after the strike, Deutsche Bahn announced on Friday.
However, passengers should inform themselves in advance about their planned train connection, it said.
The trains should therefore be very full on Friday and at the weekend.
The railway announced that it is anticipating the busiest days of travel this year.
Many had postponed their trips to these days because of the strike.
In addition, the holidays in many federal states and the summer weather indicated high occupancy rates.
The railway emphasized that the long-distance trains had more seats than before Corona.
"Since then, an additional 10,000 seats have been available on the more than 800 long-distance trains every day." As has been the case since the start of the strike, all seats should remain reservable.
Trains would continue to be cleaned twice as often as before the pandemic.
The strike of the German train drivers' union is scheduled for 2 a.m. on Friday.
