Today, the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade launched 36 subprograms to support interest rates with the aim of reducing the costs of obtaining financing for a range of industrial and agricultural projects.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the ministry called for those wishing to work and produce to obtain loans at subsidized interest rates through the state bearing 7 percent of the interest rate specified on loans granted by banks to these sub-programs proposed by the Ministry of Economy in light of the results of the studies it conducted In coordination with all concerned authorities, it assigned its technical arm represented by the Local Production and Export Support and Development Authority to follow up on it in coordination with banks.
According to the statement, the program includes support for the establishment, operation and restoration of facilities for the manufacture of medical tools and devices, the manufacture of knitted fabrics and the manufacture of threads, the establishment, operation and restoration of facilities for the manufacture of automated textiles, knitting, carpets and rugs, support for dyes, and the establishment and operation of laboratories for the production of modern irrigation requirements.
The program also included supporting the operation of damaged and out of work poultry houses that need rehabilitation, papermaking, starch and artificial straw, supporting the establishment of factories for the production of glass panels, the restoration and restarting of machinery manufacturing plants and production lines, and the restoration and restarting of Formica panels.
The interest rate subsidy program supports the restoration, restarting, and establishment of projects for the manufacture of renewable energies components, the establishment of factories for the production of inverters, the restoration and restarting of factories for the production of batteries, the establishment of factories for the battery recycling industry and equipping them with the necessary machinery and equipment, support for the manufacture of lighting devices, the development and expansion of the home appliances industry, the restoration of damaged facilities, expansion and replacement of production lines and molds, refurbishing or buying new molds for making cutlery and kitchen utensils.
The interest rate subsidy program also included, according to the statement, the establishment or restoration of roastery facilities, the establishment, expansion and operation of factories for hard aluminum cans, soft aluminum tubes and aluminum combined panels, the restoration and operation of non-working facilities for the manufacture of “ceramic, marble, granite, adhesive cement and feldspar” and the establishment of factories for the production of “granite, adhesive cement and feldspar.” Supporting the restoration or addition of new lines for the manufacture of “Alkyd Resin and Polyvinyl Acetate Styrene Acrylic”.
The program included support for the production of containers and stoppers that are not produced locally, the establishment of milk derivatives manufacturing facilities, the rehabilitation of damaged veterinary drug plants, the establishment of laboratories to produce new veterinary medicines that are not locally produced, the restoration and restarting of damaged fertilizer manufacturing plants, the establishment of projects for the production of juices, the establishment of vegetable seed multiplication stations and seed multiplication laboratories. Agricultural mushrooms.
The program supports the restoration of damaged industrial and tourist facilities in the governorate of Aleppo, the rehabilitation of yeast factories, those affected by fires, those affected by the project to switch to modern irrigation, and the establishment or restoration of farms to raise Awassi sheep, Shami goats, and fattening sheep farms on early weaning experiments.
