The government today approved the appointment of Yogev Gardos as budget director at the Ministry of Finance.

Gardos, who has been acting budget commissioner since September 2020, was appointed by Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman to the post on a permanent basis.

Gardos has held a number of senior positions in the division for about 11 years, including deputy budget commissioner in the macro field as well as coordinator in the fields of welfare, social security and absorption, macro and culture and sports.

Gardos, 38, holds a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting, a master's degree in business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University.
