Through the Official Gazette, the Government reported
the new deadline that companies have to request state aid
to pay their employees' salaries this month, within the framework of the Repro II program that was launched in the midst of the pandemic and is still in force, although with some changes.
As established by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, registration to the Repro II program for the period corresponding to the wages earned in August
, "will be between August 25 and August 31, 2021 inclusive."
As established by the portfolio led by Claudio Moroni, the months selected for the calculation of the interannual variation of the billing required by the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP)
are between July 2019 and July 2021.
Invoicing should not be considered for companies started as of January 1, 2019
, while the month selected to determine the personnel payroll and the reference salaries is July 2021. The cutoff for updating payroll cancellations was set for on August 24 (inclusive) while the CBU update cut on August 23 (inclusive).
Companies from critical sectors
that were recently included
have the same deadline to sign up
.
The
Government estimates that each month there will be a smaller number of registrants
, so the need for salary assistance will be reduced.
Last July, the program reached some 570,000 workers from 34,000 companies
, it is an aid to face wages and consists of the payment by the State
of $ 22,000 per employee.
Sectors considered "critical" included:
Trade in non-essential items (clothing, textiles, leather, footwear, electronics, electrical appliances, furniture and vehicles, among others).
Trade in essential branches but which in recent months have been affected by the drop in circulation (for example, kiosks, bakeries, ice cream parlors and service stations).
Shopping centers located in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA).
In June,
the “Emergency Assistance Program for Independent Workers
in critical sectors”
was
also
extended
, aimed at the gastronomic sector and the self-employed in many other areas, such as hotels, tourism and hairdressing, among others.
The beneficiaries must, in this case,
“present a reduction in billing of more than 20% in real terms
, for the period between June 1 to 22, 2021 and between June 1 and 22, 2019 ″.
If "
the date of registration to the corresponding independent work regime" is after January 1, 2019
, "the present condition to access" assistance is excluded.
For those who work independently and have workers in charge, the conditions that must be met are:
Have a staffing of no more than 5 employees
in the month prior to applying for the benefit.
The current liquidity indicator (current assets / current liabilities) for the month of May 2021 must present a maximum value that will be defined by the Evaluation and Monitoring Committee of the REPRO II Program.
Not appear in the Public Registry of Employers with Labor Sanctions
(REPSAL) in the cases provided for in subsection h) of article 2 and in articles 3 and 4 of Law No. 26,940, for the time they remain in it ”.
