The construction world is much better. The giants Bouygues and Eiffage have just published their accounts for the first half of 2021, which show that the crisis is - almost - behind them.

At 17.4 billion euros, the overall turnover (construction, services, telecoms, television) over the first six months of the year returned to its level for the same period of 2019. And soared by 18 % compared to the first half of 2020. Over the whole of 2021, the operating margin should return to its level of 2019, which was not expected in the outlook for the start of the year.
