Meet "Dudo's Animals" a social employment venture based on the paintings of Ido Bensman (nicknamed Dodo), a young man on the autism spectrum who loves to paint mostly colorful animals, full of emotion and joy of life.

The venture was established in the beginning, in order to create for Ido, now 25, a place of employment that would suit his skills and express his talents and strengths.

Ido was soon joined by other members, young people with special needs who were specially trained and had the opportunity to integrate into the work force, enjoy a fair salary and full social conditions in a supportive and inclusive workplace, in an occupational setting adapted as a respectful routine in adult life.

As part of the activity, the graduates produce gifts and products in an original design with messages of optimism, humor and joy of life - which are the cornerstones of his uncle's family who clung to optimism and turned autism into strength and success.

100 recipes for a safer world

"Kitchen of Their Own" is the first culinary project of its kind that unites 50 leading culinary women in Israel who have donated their favorite recipes from the private recipe book to a cookbook whose entire profits will be donated to the Association of Centers for Assistance to Victims of Sexual Assault in Israel.

The book contains about 100 recipes.

The book was initiated, edited and produced voluntarily by Yael Kalev, former editor of "On the Table" magazine, and is a treasure trove of knowledge, experience and women's wisdom that provides a broad answer to every need.

The recipes are interwoven with texts written by Israeli food women on fraternity and female empowerment, as they are expressed through cooking and the love of food.
