Meital, 54, has been a board member since 2008.

She was the one who carried out the boycott of the settlements.

She also serves as vice president of the company's charity fund.

According to the suspicion, in 2017 and 2018 she attracted about $ 100,000 from the fund to the "Oakland Institute", a non-profit institution that she heads and which has the only salary in it.

Some of the money went to the Badil Resources Center, a support center for Palestinians and refugee rights in the West Bank.

"There seems to be a possibility of wrongdoing here," U.S. tax officials said.

The EU has prevented.

Meital: "False accusations"

Last year, the EU prevented the transfer of more than $ 2 million to Badil, after his leaders refused to sign that the money would not be transferred to Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist activities.

Ben & Jerrys' contribution, so to speak, in 2017 was supposed to mark "50 years of the Six Day War and the occupation."

Meital said these were "false accusations" against the Oakland Institute and the Ben & Jerry's Foundation.
