With quality, distinction and competitive price, the industrialists participating in the “Made in Syria” specialized export exhibition for clothing and textiles fall and winter 2021-2022 received their visitors from Syrian and Arab traders, as the 180 participating companies presented the elite of the national industry in terms of designs and fabrics for the export product.

The companies participating in the exhibition held at the fairgrounds in Damascus display the latest models of various types of men's, children's and women's clothing, fabrics and production requirements.

Abdullah Qattan from Hama Governorate, owner of a factory for the manufacture of children’s clothes and coats, explained in a statement to SANA that it is the first time that he participates in the exhibition within his pavilion, which witnessed a great turnout of Iraqi and Libyan visitors to see his goods made entirely by national hands, starting from the thread and ending with the packaging, while his partner, Muhammad Abu Ghdda from Aleppo, all industrialists to return to Syria and open their factories to support the national textile sector, with its long-standing reputation in the region, which was able to withstand despite the challenges that befell it.

Yasar Wahba from Damascus Governorate, who works in the women's clothing industry, saw that the exhibition has significant positive effects that are reflected on the industry and the economy as a whole, despite the high production costs for the upcoming winter season.

Firas Ko from the city of Aleppo pointed out that they are participating for the second time in the men's clothing sector, pointing out that the exhibition contributes to informing industrialists of different models of goods and introducing them to merchants from different countries and governorates.

Mustafa Fattal, director of a company for the manufacture of men's clothing, participating for the sixth time in the exhibition, confirmed that the exhibition is of great importance to all clothing producers, because the government is working to attract merchants from Iraq, Libya, Jordan and various countries and encourage them to visit it, indicating that he was able from the first day to conclude commercial deals in addition to registering requests for other goods that will be export it later.

Muhammad Tayfur from Aleppo indicated that he had partnered with an Iraqi merchant to manufacture clothes after he was exporting Syrian goods known for their quality and competitive price, indicating that regional markets have become favored with Syrian goods, especially after the high cost of freight, in addition to the credibility of Syrian industrialists who maintained the reputation and quality of their goods, as he pointed out. His partner from Baghdad, Baqir Hussein, indicated that the reason for the partnership is to benefit from Iraqi capital and Syrian expertise in the textile industry.

Yasser Al-Bankaji confirmed that he came from outside Syria and reopened his factory there after he suffered from high taxes in those countries, indicating that the government provided him with all facilities and that many industrialists are on their way to return.

The exhibition, which is organized by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and the Association of Syrian Exporters of Garments and Textiles, targets the markets of neighboring countries through hundreds of businessmen who have been invited from many countries, especially Iraq, to ​​conclude deals to export these products to the markets of these countries and others.
