The Superintendency of Health Services transferred
another $ 3,000 million
to social works for reimbursements for
prolonged and more expensive treatments
"corresponding to the budget quota in execution for the month of August 2021".
according to Resolution No. 1484/2021 published this Friday in the Official Gazette.
So far this year, $ 15,864 million has been transferred
through the SUR program (Sistema Unico de Refunds).
It was $ 1 billion for January, $ 1.2 billion for February, $ 1.5 billion for March, $ 1.5 billion for April.
$ 2,364 million for May, $ 2,300 million for June.
$ 3 billion for July and now $ 3 billion for August.
They are reimbursements that "
must
explicitly
be used for the payment of providers and providers of the health system
, in order to maintain the chain of payments and to be able to face effectively and in a timely manner the situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic."
The largest transfers this month correspond to the Social Work
for Commercial Employees
and Civil Activities ($ 446,613,616) Social Work for
Executives and Management Personnel
($ 178,769,269) and Social Work for
Rural Personnel
and Longshoremen ($ 159,227. 294).
In the accumulated to August, the highest repayments went to the Social Work of
Commercial
Employees, which
received $ 1,310 million, the Social Work of Executives and
Business Management
Personnel,
$ 675 million, and the
Personal Union of Civilian Personnel of the Nation,
$ 457 million.
As
Clarín has
been explaining
, these funds are not a contribution from the State to social works.
The Redistribution Fund
is financed with a part of the contributions and contributions
on the wage bill that goes to the social security system.
This advance mechanism totaled $ 23,855.7 million last year.
SUR is a health program that distributes the payment of long-term and more expensive treatment benefits, with high economic impact, among all entities.
What is sought through the program is to
avoid that higher spending ends up concentrated in certain entities
, especially among those with fewer affiliates or financial support.
The official Resolution says that the transferred amount "will be charged as an advance of funds of the requests presented by the Health Insurance Agents, pending cancellation to date and those that are presented in the future."
It also clarifies that "this Superintendency continues to
work on the reformulation and comprehensive reengineering
of the Single Reimbursement System (SUR), in order to shorten the time limits for the transitory nature of the measures taken."
However, he adds, "it is appropriate that this body continue to adopt measures in order to guarantee, through the distribution of resources from the Redistribution Solidarity Fund, adequate medical-assistance coverage for the beneficiaries of the National Health Insurance System. ".
