The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market today increased by 5 thousand Syrian pounds from yesterday, affected by the increase in the global price of an ounce, which recorded 1827 US dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 172 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 171500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 147,429 pounds and a purchase price of 146929 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens who wish to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by it, and it distributed phone numbers for complaints 0991937718-2248005.
