The Syrian Company for Electronic Payments announced today that the cellular companies Syriatel and MTN have joined the “Payments” system, where citizens can now pay bills and fees electronically through the channels available to the two companies through the services “Syriatel Cash” and “Mobile Cash”.

The Executive Director of the company, Dr. Ayman Mallouk, said in a statement to SANA’s delegate that the two cellular companies joined the system, and citizens can now pay the fees for the services of the e-citizen service center, electricity and water bills, the fixed phone and the Internet, in addition to the fees for services of the transport directorates, traffic violations, verification and collection services in the governorate of Damascus, in The framework of the measures aimed at expanding the segment of citizens benefiting from the services of paying bills and fees electronically, which leads to alleviating their burdens and saving time, effort and money compared to paying through traditional methods.

Mallouk explained that the customers of my mobile company can make electronic payments using their balances and pay financial claims by creating an electronic account through the services “Syriatel Cash” and “Mobile Cash”.

Mallouk added: The number of financial claims paid through a payment system since the launch of its services on 4-14-2020 to date has exceeded 3.362 million services, with a value of more than 132 billion Syrian pounds.
