Facing the elections, the first term that will take place next Sunday and the second round for which we will have to wait until November, the Government
accelerated measures that aim to reactivate consumption
in a stage that also seeks to leave behind the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
In this sense, and according to the latest data from the Broda study, the expansion of extra spending planned for the year is
close to $ 600,000 million, an amount equivalent to 1.4% of GDP.
Of that number, which coincides with the data reported by the Government, as of June 2021, more than $ 130,000 million had already been used, according to official data from the Ministry of the Economy.
In that direction, in the last year, the Government has been
deepening, rearming and developing
a series of stimulus measures with the aim of
putting more money in Argentina's ailing pockets
.
Among the last, and that belong to the electoral menu, are: the update of the Income tax - those who earn less than $ 150,000 stopped paying it -, the reopening of the parity tax above 40%, the last bonus of $ 5,000 to retirees (who collected with their August salaries) and the new version of Now 12, which led to 24 and 30 installments.
To all these, the most recent measure is added: the 0% credit for monotributistas.
However, the list that make up those almost $ 600,000 million extra to the Budget is much more extensive and includes: extensions of
Repro II, Alimentar card, Progresar Program, AUH and family allowances, bonds and non-bank credits, and investment in vaccines.

Credits at a 0% rate for monotributistas
: loans with a subsidy of 100% of the total financial cost and with a six-month grace period.
In 12 installments, the amount is determined by the category.
The maximum is $ 150,000.
Scholarships, credits and bonds put at the service of consumption.
Earnings
: Those who earn less than $ 150,000 stopped paying the tax, and the change freed 1.2 million workers.
The measure is retroactive to the beginning of 2021, and the return of what was withheld in excess is in installments.
Now the government is analyzing another update of the cap to bring it to $ 170,000 or $ 180,000.
Paritaria
