Tnuva announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Emirates Food Industries (EFI), one of the largest food companies in the UAE, for the sale of knowledge and assistance in establishing dairy production lines. This is the first licensing agreement between a large Israeli food company and a state-owned food company.

As part of the agreement, Tnuva will accompany the construction of production lines at EFI's dairy, while in the first phase it will accompany it with the establishment of a production line of lava, which will be produced in a process similar to the production process at Alon Tavor Dairy. Later in the activity will include support in the development and production of additional products. In addition to the reward for accompanying the establishment of the Tnuva production system, you will also receive royalties for the products that will be sold. The agreement is for 10 years with an option for another 10 years. The revenue potential for Tnuva in the coming years stands at millions of dollars.

Tnuva's lava production system at Alon Tavor Dairy in the Jezreel Valley is considered unique due to its ability to produce on a large scale, while preserving the traditional production method of drip in sacks.

In Israel, Tnuva markets the lava under the Piraeus brand, which is considered a leader in the category with a market share of about 40%.

People at EFI who were exposed to the stone of Tnuva immediately realized that it was a product with superiority over the mouths of the other bleach products marketed and manufactured in the Emirates.

EFI (Emirate Food Industries), which started as a basic products company, such as flour, sugar and rice, entered the dairy industry several years ago and is now one of the leading food companies in the union.

Today, the company produces a variety of basic dairy products such as milk and white and the agreement with Tnuva will allow the company to expand its activities in the dairy field to additional products and it is expected to operate a modern production facility for dairy products in the near future.

The company has a sales turnover of $ 250 million.

The deal was led by the International Division headed by Sagi Cohen.
