Today signed an agreement with the roof first Arab sector between Umm al-Fahm and the State of Israel and

The first compound: Arak al-Shabab

In Umm al-Fahm, which covers about 26,000 dunams, only about half of the land is state land and the rest is private land. The planned construction in the city will be carried out in seven complexes, including: Arak al-Shabab (1030) where about 5,311 housing units will be built, of which 2,554 housing units will be built on state lands, and Ein Jarrar (1077/1077) where about 4,122 housing units will be built. D, of which about 1,009 housing units are in state lands, the Northeast Plan (Complex 12) in which about 6,000 housing units will be built, of which 1,330 housing units are in state lands and other complexes in the city center.



The roof agreement will accelerate the city's development and growth and will make it possible to find housing solutions for the locals as well.


The Israel Land Authority will centrally market approximately 1,350 housing units in approved complexes in the city center immediately after the signing of the roof agreement. In addition, the parties intend to market part of the Arak al-Shabab plan this year.



The main development works are: a bridge over Road 65 as part of TAML / 1077, paving new roads and regulating existing roads in the city of Umm al-Fahm, arranging drainage solutions, establishing parks and public areas for the benefit of residents, relocating electricity and communications infrastructure and acoustic protection to prevent noise in areas adjacent to the road 65.
