Léon de Bruxelles made his revolution.
In decline, the restaurant chain bought in mid-2019 by the Bertrand Group is changing its decor, menus and even name.
Forget Brussels (in reference to the first restaurant, opened in 1893 in the Belgian capital), the brand is now presented as a “fish brasserie”, simply called “Léon”.
After eight weeks of work, a completely revamped address has just opened in Paris, boulevard du Montparnasse.
No more characteristic green color.
The new Léon (there are five in France) gives way to softer tones and wooden walls.
Mooring buoys, lobster pots, photos of shells and boats ... Everything is done to feel at the seaside.

The all-you-can-eat casserole dishes, which have made the reputation of the brand, are still on the menu, but they are less prominent.
There is now lobster (with fries, spaghetti or paella), for 27.90 euros maximum.
And sole meunière, at 25.90 euros.
