Gold prices in the local market today decreased by two thousand pounds per gram of 21 karat from the price of yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 168 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 167,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram for sale amounted to 144 thousand pounds and the purchase price 143500 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0991937718-2248005.
