Like every year, Amazon will recruit in the last quarter.
The e-commerce giant has just announced on Wednesday that it plans to hire 12,000 seasonal workers in France for the end-of-year celebrations, a high point in consumption and e-commerce.
"The positions are to be filled in the French logistics network of Amazon, which includes distribution centers, sorting centers and local delivery agencies", indicates the group.
He specifies that its workforce will reach “14,500 permanent employees at the end of the year”.

"The employees who will join Amazon during the holiday season will have an important role in helping to prepare, pack and ship orders", specifies Amazon, which is surfing the growth of e-commerce further accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic and health restrictions on physical businesses.
At the beginning of September, the company said it wanted to hire 55,000 people in the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region in office positions (human resources, marketing, tech), while it has already recruited more than 450,000 people on American soil since the start of the pandemic.
At the end of 2020, Amazon had 1.3 million employees worldwide.
