One of the latest to strengthen in this sector is Eurazeo.
The private equity firm has just increased its stake in the capital of Kurma Partners, a French management company specializing in biotechnologies and medical innovation.

Eurazeo is now the majority shareholder with 70.6% of the capital, against 40% previously, and will also invest in the funds of Kurma, which claims 500 million euros of assets under management invested in 45 companies.

"Our ambition is to accelerate in healthcare in France and in Europe",
explains Virginie Morgon, president of the management board of Eurazeo, which has invested 1.6 billion euros in this sector in ten years (more than 70 investments). .
The company was selected last year to manage the 420 million euros fund of the French Insurance Federation dedicated to health.
