Oil prices rose, and Brent crude touched its highest level in more than two months, supported by the growing demand for fuel and the decline in US crude stocks.
Brent crude was settled at a rise of $ 1.06, equivalent to 1.4 percent, to $ 77.25 a barrel, the highest price since mid-July.
US West Texas Intermediate crude rose $1.07, or 1.5 percent, to $73.30 a barrel.
