The Ministry of Industry announced the offering of 38 facilities belonging to it, "suspended or destroyed by sabotage acts", for investment with the participation of companies and individuals from the private sector and friendly countries to rebuild, rehabilitate and provide everything necessary to restart these facilities within their basic activity or any other activity consistent with the nature of the site and industrial importance. The legal reference is determined according to the offers submitted by the investors.
In a statement, SANA obtained a copy of it, the ministry identified the facilities offered for investment according to its affiliation with each institution, as it proposed 6 projects affiliated with the General Organization for Engineering Industries, including four with the same activity or any alternative activity, which is the General Company for the manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery “tractors” located in Aleppo “Al-Safira Road.” Currently suspended and the General Company for Metallurgical Industries “Barada” in its destroyed headquarters in the Damascus countryside in Sabineh and its current headquarters in the Hosh Plas area “works by assembling” in addition to two companies with an alternative activity, the General Company for Compressed Wood, Sulfur and Pencils in its destroyed headquarters in the Damascus countryside in Al-Maliha and in its existing and suspended headquarters In Damascus, Bab Sharqi, next to the destroyed screens factory in Aleppo, “Al-Zarba”.
As for the eight facilities affiliated with the General Corporation for Chemical Industries that are offered for investment with the same activity or any alternative activity, they are the General Company for the Destroyed Glass Industry in Aleppo “Al-Musalmiya”, the General Company for the Syrian Glass and Ceramic Industries, which is parked in the countryside of Damascus in the Hosh Blas area, and the General Company for the manufacture of tires “Apamia” which is parked in Hama Salamiyah Road The Arab Company for Destroyed Rubber, Leather and Plastic Products in Aleppo “Al-Musalmiya District”, the suspended and destroyed General Paper Company in Deir Ezzor, the destroyed Serum Factory in Aleppo “Al-Zarba” and the destroyed headquarters of the destroyed Arab Medical Company “Tamico” in the Damascus countryside of Al-Maliha, and a land belonging to the company in the Suwayda Governorate in the Umm al-Zaytoun area.
The General Establishment for Food Industries has 7 facilities offered for investment with the same activity or any alternative activity, which are the dairy factories in the Al-Halak and Biscuits area in Ain Al-Tal, which are partially destroyed in Aleppo, affiliated to the Al-Sharq Company for Food Products, and the oil factories in the destroyed areas of Ain Al-Tal and Albillermon, which are affiliated to the Aleppo Oils Company and the destroyed Ghrawi Company in the area Hosh Plus in Rif Dimashq, the Consortium unit in Al-Mayadin area in the destroyed Deir ez-Zor, and the suspended Yarmouk Macaroni Company in Daraa city, while the Barada Company for Destroyed Beer in Rif Dimashq, in the Al-Hama area, offered to invest in a new activity.
As for the General Corporation for Cement and Building Materials, the number of its facilities offered for investment in the same activity or any alternative activity is 5 projects, 3 of which are affiliated with Al-Shahba Cement Company, which are the discontinued Sheikh Saeed Factory, the destroyed Al-Maslamiya factory in Aleppo, the suspended Burj Islam factory in Latakia, in addition to the Aleppo Company for the manufacture of cement products “Amianti” “In the Sheikh Saeed area of Aleppo, and the National Company for Manufacturing Chimento, which has been suspended in Dummar area, to invest in it with a new activity.
The share of the General Organization for Textile Industries was 9 facilities offered for investment, namely the Industrial Company for Ready-made Garments, the General Company for Spinning and Weaving and the Arab Company for Underwear destroyed in Aleppo “Ain al-Tal” in order to establish a complex for textile industries in the three companies or any new activity in addition to the destroyed carpet factory in Ain al-Tal, Aleppo And the destroyed Modern Industries Company in Damascus countryside “Al-Maliha Road”, the Homs Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing Company suspended in Homs, Mimas Road, and the Drakeish Silk Company suspended in Tartous to invest in the same activity or any new activity. Qaboun area for investment through a new activity.
As for the share of the General Sugar Corporation in investment projects with the same activity or any new activity, it was the two destroyed yeast factories in Harasta in Damascus countryside and Al-Masalmiya road in Aleppo.
The Ministry called on those wishing to invest in these companies to submit their offers to the Ministry’s office until the end of the official working day on Thursday, November 18 next, noting that applicants can obtain the special conditions book for free from the Ministry’s office located in Damascus, Maysaloon Street.
