The Christmas holidays still seem far away.
However, for those who travel by train, it is already time to think about it.

As for the Ouigo, it is already possible to buy tickets until next July.

Tickets are refundable and exchangeable free of charge up to four days before departure and with a charge of 15 euros two days or less before departure for TGVs.
Fees amounting to 40% of the ticket price for Intercités.
Almost normal traffic?
Train seats for this period are usually sold out like hot cakes and prices can soar as the fateful period approaches.
Despite the Covid-19, rail traffic is likely to be high during the Christmas holidays, as it was during the summer period, during which it almost equaled the level of 2019, according to the president of the SNCF, Jean-Pierre Farandou.
Since August 9, the health pass is compulsory in TGV and Intercity trains for long journeys.
While it is currently mandatory until November 15, the government has already indicated its intention to maintain this measure beyond that date.
A draft law in this direction must be presented to the Council of Ministers on October 13.
