Biogroupe wants to take advantage of the French appetite for plants


The specialist in fermented drinks and desserts, which has broken into organic stores, hopes to raise 10 million euros to integrate the shelves of supermarkets and boost its production capacities.

Organic, vegetal, local, sugar-free, with a short list of ingredients and above all a real consistency in its approach.

Few initiatives are so much at the crossroads of current trends.

For Bernardo Sanchez-Incera, a figure in banking and distribution in France, and a key shareholder of the specialist in fermented drinks and plant-based desserts Biogroupe, the latter has all the cards in hand to duplicate his success story with the general public.

In a little over a decade, the company created in 2009 by Laurent Coulloume-Labarthe, serial entrepreneur of healthy food, has already won its letters of nobility in specialized organic stores (Biocoop, Bio C'Bon, La Vie Claire, Naturalia ...).

Thanks first of all to its brand of kombucha Karma, a sparkling fermented fruit drink, low in sugar and low in number of ingredients.
