End of Leclerc Énergies: no power cut for customers before October 31


Leclerc finally postponed for two weeks the shutdown of its electricity service, initially scheduled for Friday, October 15.

There will be no power cut for Leclerc Énergies electricity service subscribers as of this Friday.

For several days, the energy branch of the Leclerc group had announced to its customers that it would stop providing electricity on October 15



This decision has an important consequence: you must have changed electricity supplier before this date",

For the remaining customers, the brand has decided to extend their contract exceptionally until October 31 to leave them more time to choose a new supplier,

Upheavals in the electricity supply

This postponement comes after several months of upheavals in the offer of Leclerc Énergies.

In July, Leclerc Énergies announced the end of its traditional electricity offer based on fixed pricing.

Customers then had two options: change supplier or subscribe to a future offer with dynamic pricing, the price of which changes from hour to hour depending on energy prices.

An offer that Leclerc Énergies had finally postponed in September in the context of soaring electricity prices, but which the group did not completely renounce.
