France still lagging behind in digital health

The government is freeing up 650 million more for the booming e-health market. While the digital transformation of the health sector is accelerating, with a worldwide growth of 160% of e-health, to 235 billion dollars between 2019 and 2023, the government wants to promote the emergence of an ecosystem in France, capable of establishing itself on the world market. While the digital transformation of the health sector is accelerating, with a worldwide growth of 160% of e-health, to 235 billion dollars between 2019 and 2023, the government wants to promote the emergence of an ecosystem in France, capable of establishing itself on the world market.

As part of the France 2030 investment plan, which spurs 7 billion euros towards health, the ministers Olivier Véran (Health), Frédérique Vidal (Higher education), Agnès Pannier-Runacher (Industry) and Cédric O (Digital) on Monday launched the digital health acceleration strategy.

"more preventive, more predictive and more personalized" approach,

indicated the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran.
