Some 40,000 homes were deprived of electricity early Thursday evening in the north of France after the passage of storm Aurora overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
At 6:00 p.m., more than 210,000 of the 250,000 homes that were deprived of electricity "
were replenished, or 85% restored during the day,
" said Enedis in a situation report.

4,000 technicians and employees of service companies are hard at work and carried out projects throughout the day
", added the manager of the electricity network, specifying that the interventions were continuing.
