France has a new unicorn. DentalMonitoring is added to the hexagonal nuggets that are Doctolib, Mirakl or ManoMano. The company, a specialist in artificial intelligence (AI) applied to dental care, completes a fundraising of 150 million euros which values it more than 1 billion euros. She convinced Merieux Equity Partners, specializing in health, to lead this second round of funding, alongside the British fund Vitruvian Partners, which had already beaten up. "
This is an important step for the company,"
says its CEO, Philippe Salah.
This fundraising will allow us to double in size in France within eighteen months and to strengthen our internationalization.
The company, which will open an office in China in early November, sells its products in more than 50 countries.
In a dental market that weighs 500 billion dollars, dominated by American heavyweights, it has established itself as a leader in its niche.
