Gender equality: parity in governing bodies will be strengthened

The Senate examines the bill of the LREM deputy Marie-Pierre Rixain, which sets 40% of women in the executive committees and codirs by 2030.


Whatever her education, background or age, every woman in France must be able to benefit from the same opportunities as men.

This is the spirit of the law proposal (PPL) by LREM MP Marie-Pierre Rixain, which aims to accelerate economic and professional equality between the sexes.

Voted unanimously on May 12, at first reading in the National Assembly, it will be examined from this Wednesday in the Senate.
