No question of letting down the French groups in difficulty or threatened to come under foreign control.
In 2017, the State, decided to remain a shareholder in groups linked to national sovereignty, national defense, civilian nuclear power and large public services (SNCF, La Poste, RATP), had chosen to reduce its share in companies commercial.
The State Participation Agency (APE) has since partially withdrawn from Safran, PSA, Renault, Engie and FDJ, even though the privatization of ADP has been abandoned.

But the pandemic has reshuffled the cards, and the EPA will continue to focus on commercial companies.
