Clalit announced that it will establish advanced digital solutions through NESS, part of the Hilan Group, based on Microsoft's Azure.



This is one of the largest tenders in Israel in the field of cloud services and a number of cloud providers participated in it.

Ness from the Hilan Group, one of the leading information technology services companies in Israel, was selected after a careful examination and meeting strict threshold conditions.



The company submitted a bid along with Azure - Microsoft's cloud, and their bid was selected as the winner.

The rigorous tender that was conducted included a requirement for authority, requirements for experience in activities and projects and a high level of knowledge in cloud solutions.

The tender also included technological requirements and a request for strict obligations regarding local data center sites, compliance with construction dates and the content of services.



Clalit's transition to cloud services will, according to the fund's announcement, upgrade the service to Clalit's 4.7 million customers in Israel, who will have access to a variety of advanced and secure digital services.

With the establishment of Microsoft's local data center in Israel, Clalit will be able to enjoy access to advanced computing power, network services, databases, analytics technologies, artificial intelligence capabilities and IoT solutions.

In total, these are many hundreds of Azure cloud services, which include low latency and compliance with data storage and data security requirements in the State of Israel.

Microsoft's cloud services comply with EU Privacy Protection (GDPR) requirements and meet the most advanced and stringent information security and privacy standards requirements on the market today.



As part of the services, NESS will set up a cloud services support center for Clalit and will even provide Clalit with leading tools for managing, monitoring and optimizing the cloud services. The company will also provide leading technology teams for the planning and execution of the various projects.



The type and scope of systems required for migration to the cloud and the new solutions required for the organization, will place Clalit at the forefront of technology in the cloud world in the coming years and the combination of Microsoft Azure's advanced cloud solutions with the technological knowledge, experience and services offered by NESS.
