The city of Lannion, 20,000 inhabitants, is one of the high places in French telecoms history.

In December, the State participated in the revitalization of the Lannion cluster by supporting the project of the Institute for Technological Research (IRT), which aims to

"develop a sovereign offer for private 5G networks"

, via funding from 30 million euros over seven years.
