Collectives of nurse anesthetists (IADE) have called for a "
dead block
" week
in hospitals from Monday, promising "
a marked slowdown in scheduled operative activity
" in order to obtain "
fair recognition of their profession.
". These groups, rallied under the banner "
IADE united
", are covered by a strike notice filed by the CGT, for the period from November 2 to 11 inclusive, demanding "
legislative, regulatory and financial recognition of their profession
", including "
the arduousness of their exercise
”, as well as“
the respect (of their) exclusive competences
”.

Nursing anesthetists "
have been fighting for more than a year
" and "
have nothing more to lose
", affirm the groups in a press release denouncing "
the lack of government will to accede (to their) legitimate demands
", in terms of status and salary.
They therefore call for "
a 'dead block' week, black week without IADE
", in order to "
force the government to favorably develop their profession
".
"
Strong disruptions should be expected from Monday, November 8 in all operating theaters in the territory, with a marked slowdown in scheduled operating activity, excluding emergencies,
" they warn.
