In the past six months, every third employee suffered mentally from working from home.
This is the result of the Germany Barometer Depression 2021, a representative survey.
The study will be presented on Tuesday, the German press agency reported in advance.
Of the 1123 survey participants who were mostly at home during the pandemic, 33 percent said that not going to work and interacting with colleagues had a negative effect on mental health.
One in ten reported that this was "very true."
Since 2017, the Germany Depression Barometer has regularly been about the mental state of the country.
This September, a total of more than 5000 adults up to 69 years of age were surveyed; according to information, the study is representative nationwide.
The Deutsche Bahn Foundation is funding the survey.
