Today, the Turkish lira fell to a new record low against the dollar.
Reuters reported that the Turkish lira recorded 9.91 against the dollar, down 0.6 percent from the closing of the previous session and settled at 9,9050 against the dollar.
The Turkish currency has lost about 25 percent of its value this year.
Analysts consider that the intervention of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with monetary policy has eroded its credibility in the past few years.
