that would make 50 billion per year of French purchases
".
The political debate on protectionism (60% of French people would be in favor of it according to an OpinionWay poll published in October 2020, at the start of the second epidemic wave) and in particular the relocation of industry is increasingly strong in France, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic which has highlighted the country's dependence on the foreign supply of many essential goods.
To remedy this, could a quarter of public markets be reserved for French products?
