Turkish lira hits new record low

Today, the Turkish lira fell to its lowest level ever during the year against the US currency.

Reuters reported that the Turkish lira recorded a low of ten dollars, after it closed yesterday at 9.92 against the dollar.

Last month, the Turkish lira recorded a level of 9.62 lira to the dollar, which was considered the lowest level it had ever reached.
