Gold prices in the local market rose today by two thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat, with the global price of an ounce rising to 1866 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus, a gram of 21 karat gold recorded a selling price of 175,000 pounds and a purchase price of 174,500 pounds, while the price of a gram of 18 karat selling amounted to 150,000 pounds and a purchase price of 149,500 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and to submit a complaint in the event of a violation on the numbers 2248005 - 0991937718.
